Delete Your Account

You can delete your Swimiss account at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both result in the same outcome: your personal information is removed and you are signed out on every device.
Option 1. Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest way and does not require contacting us.
- Open the Swimiss app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE in the confirmation box and tap Delete my account.
You will be signed out immediately and the same email and password will no longer work to sign in.
Option 2. Request deletion by email
Use this if you no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in.
Email support@swimiss.com.my from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Account deletion request". We will verify the request, process the deletion within 7 business days, and reply once it is done.
If you no longer have access to the email address on your account, include any other identifying information you have (the phone number on file, recent enrollment or booking references). We may ask follow up questions to confirm your identity before processing.
What gets deleted
- Your name, phone number, and email address are removed from your account record.
- Emergency contact details, medical flags, and any notes on your student profile are cleared.
- All active sessions are revoked on every device you are signed in on.
- Pending magic links and password reset codes are invalidated.
What we retain
Some records are retained for accounting and regulatory reasons, with personal identifiers replaced by tombstone values:
- Past enrollments, payments, and tax receipts, kept for accounting compliance.
- Past attendance records and instructor feedback, kept as part of course history for other students and instructors who attended the same sessions.
- Performance entries you logged, kept anonymized as historical data.
None of these retained records carry your name, phone, or email. They reference an internal account ID that is no longer linked to any personal information.
Permanence
Deletion is permanent. We cannot restore a deleted account. The same email address can be used to create a new account later, but historical records are not re linked to the new account.
